The Roofs of Lisbon

Portugal’s capital sits on seven hills just like Rome, still the hills of Lisbon are somehow more steep so the rooftop terraces offer some unique views.

About Travel in Patterns

Hi, I am Ioana, and I like to travel while working remotely. Sometimes I travel for short term, sometimes I stop and live in a new city for a while, getting to know new languages and local habits.

Over the years, I have called ‘home’ several cities across Europe including Lisbon, Bilbao, Amsterdam and Milan, until I fell in love in Barcelona, where I am based now. I have a twelve-years background in architecture, practicing it and writing about it, and I like to capture nice stories, patterns and colours around me. And to live by the sea.
